Helpful Donations

We want to make this Staff Appreciation Day special. Since we are hosting the event for 120 people, we will need plenty of food and beverages. We are also going to decorate the lounge in fall-themed decor and raffle off prizes for the staff over the morning announcements.

This list is just a sample of the items we will be looking to acquire for the event. If you have another idea as to how you would like to contribute, or if you would like to make a monetary donation, please feel free to contact us.

We will update this list as donations come in. Thank you to everyone who has already generously contributed.

Welcome!

We created this blog to give you some insight into our experiences and share our progress towards our goal.

First of all, let us introduce ourselves. JA Knights is comprised of six UCF Cornerstone students;
Keyanna Fountain, Hector Perez, Deepti Kumar, Sonja Bohmer, Laquita Ford, and Eric Luna.

We are the JA Knights and as a team we are working with Junior Achievement of Central Florida in conjunction with Palmetto Elementary School of Orange County this Fall. Our goal as JA Knights is to work as a team to show appreciation to the 120 instructors at Palmetto Elementary School which can often be overlooked. By showing our appreciation, this will be a way for us to give back to our community because the instructors play a massive role in the development of our next generation. Through communication, knowledge and planning as a team we are going to work hard to raise over $1,000 to support the staff of Palmetto, by providing them with a lasting and unforgettable event!
